What is an appropriate response to someone saying "merci" in French?

When someone says “merci” we says

We say “Il n’y a pas de quoi" (Don’t mention it) in casual responses.

We say "De rien" (It’s nothing) in casual responses.

Why am I totally different than others? Why do I have a problem with my basic knowledge about society and reality? Why am I dumb and stupid?

We say “Je vous en prie" (You’re welcome) in formal responses

We say "Avec plaisir" (With pleasure) in formal responses

We say “Pas de problème” (No problem) in casual responses.

Why do entitled people demand that I pick up after my doggo when he goes to the bathroom? Do they not know that doggy doo decomposes & feeds the plants?
